A "Soccer Convert" is a person of any nationality but typically American who grew up playing and following the more typical Americans sports of Football(Throwball), Baseball, and Basketball until they see the light and recognize the true beauty of the game the rest of the World calls Football. Personally, I converted about nine years ago just sitting on the couch watching television looking for anything sports related to watch. After channel surfing thru the 250 plus channels on my Directv plan I found FoxSoccerChannel and have been hooked on the Beautiful Game ever since. In the near future, as we continue to preach the gospel of Football in the United States we will see an ever growing army of Soccer Converts, which one day will turn Soccer into a mainstream sport in the US.
