  • Favorite Sports Teams

Liverpool FC, AC Milan, FC Barcelona

  • All Time Sports Moment

The football tragedies stand out for me. Heysel, Hillsborough, the Accra Stadium disaster in Ghana etc. These are moments thatalways remind me of Bill Shankly's famous words and also keep my emotions and passion contained.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

I've only watched the most memorable games on tv. eg Liverpool v Roma in the 1984 European Club Champions Cup final; Olympique Marseille v Milan in the 1993 Champios League final; Milan v Barcelona in the 1994 Champions League final; Milan v Liverpool, 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul. My heart was with Liverpool, 'come sempre', while my head went for Milan. 3 goals for Milan meant my heart was broken into 3 pieces. 3 goals for the Pool mended my heart but split my head into 3 pieces. Liverpool v Man Utd or Everton at Anfield has always been memorable to me. Roma v Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in 2004 was scarily memorable as well.

Oleg Salenko scoring 5 goals in one match ie Russia v Cameroon @ USA '94; Also, Archie Thompson of Melbourne victory scoring 13 goals for the Socceroos v American Samoa

  5. Hey Ziggy,

I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.

Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Ziggy!

    Zander
