I grew up playing sports, beginning with football at age 5. I boxed for 7 yrs, played baseball for several years, wrestled for 4 years, played soccer for 3 years, and played football for 10 years, and have played golf (though not very well at all) all of my life. I was literally involved one or more sport (usually 2) continuously from the time I was 5 until I was 17. I joined the US Navy in 1987, and was trained as a combat medical specialist (attached to a USMC platoon for most of my active service). There isn't a sport that I don't like (except "curling", which I don't consider a sport....sweeping ice with a broom? REALLY??), and will even go to a local ballpark near my home & watch little-league football & baseball just because I enjoy watching sports. I will say that, although I love playing golf, I can't & won't just watch others play...either in person or on TV. I can always find something more interesting to do....like get a root-canal.
The OSU game was in Houston. Not Starksville. Just thought you ought to know. And I'm an OU fan.
