About

It isn't easy to be a fan of Seattle sports... but Darin still loves the Seahawks and Mariners. He loosely follows soccer, and would love to have an NHL team in Seattle. As odd as it sounds, he supports UW AND WSU sports, as well as Eastern WA Univ athletics and Gonzaga Basketball. Between undergraduate and graduate studies, he's taken classes at all of those schools. One thing he won't talk about is the NBA...the league is out of hand.

Darin, what's up, bro? Where's the grade on the Seahawks stomping of Eagles? A, A, A, A. Even Tavaris Jackson was completing passes at an 80% clip!

35 years...five playoff appearances...three playoff wins. Year 36 is when SF finally saw success. It must have been nice to have them as your team. Seahawks fans are hoping they will get a franchise QB...put a star QB on this team and they could be rather good.

Darin....actually it isn't. The Niners were a play-off team through the 50's, the late 60's and a hair into the 70's. You are correct though, they didn't reach the SB until 81'(which they won), 35 years into their existence.

Still when you got to watch Montana(scroll up), Rice and Lott(three considered by many to be the best ever at their positions) every Sunday, you tend to forget the years before 81'.

BTW...Hawks looked good against the Ravens. Credit to be given where it's due and it definetly is. Still not catching the Niners though.

Ty...a SB appearance and 2 playoff wins is more that the 9ers had in their first 30 years as a pro football franchise.

Thanks to an Holmgren(an ex-49er OC) you have anything to point to at all. What do you have? One Super Bowl appearence? Congrats.

    I've watched the 9ersrun win 5 SB's.

Ty, I still think they are a talented team. They are young and continue to make mistakes that cost them. I love how 9er fans are trolling now, though. After years of insulting other teams prior to the season, they finally get a chance in the regular season. Some would say it's about time.

Hey, would you be able to send your e mail to klangan@omnipossible.com? I want to get the B/R community leaders on a mailing list for a press release on behalf of Sports Media 101.

    Thanks

Some of us choose to discuss the merits and issues of the teams in the NFL, Ryan. Others choose to hurl insults around. I respect one of these groups of people.
