As to the good and bad in the U of M's performance against ND, generally agree. Much room for improvement, but the signs are plus for continued improvement. But some disagreements. Yes, Robinson did not have a good night passing, until later in the game. But I think he is a good passer, can throw long and accurate. Otherwise how do you account for his 62 or so percent percentage last year? And he was 9 for 13 in the opener. He also had some drops that would have improved his percentage. The O line was disappointing, but ND does have a veteran D line. As to Michigan's D line, I see improvement in that late in the game when they had to, they had a couple of huge stops. Agree, the defense needed more than man on Floyd, but I'm not sure unless you have game film as to what defense they were in each play. Floyd is an all-American class receivers. But the call late in the game when ND scored was a bad one; a fake blitz, but jumping back at the last second gave the offense the edge--and left one receiver wide open. A more traditional defense was needed at that time.
