Eder is definitely ready to start for Portugal. He wasn't part of the squad yesterday because he wasn't fit, but when healthy, he's a top-class center-forward. He's a strong, powerful presence and an absolute handful to defend against. His hold-up play is world-class, he's dominant in the air, strong technically, and quite mobile for a player of his size. He would be a massive upgrade from Postiga.
Benfica's Brazilian-born striker, Lima, has also begged Bento to call-him up to the Portuguese national team, but it's probably not going to happen. He is another fantastic striker who would add much needed depth up front.
There are multiple quality #10's Portugal could use: My preferred option would be Pizzi who had an outstanding season in Spain. He was usually utilized on the left wing, but is also comfortable playing centrally and as a false 9.
Zenit's Danny, Porto's Josue, and Sporting's Andre Martins would also be quality options. It's actually a position in which we have some depth, but Bento preferes to use a #10-less formation.
No worries :D Good to be able to post on your board :D
