Hey Nick, question for ya,
My article is being edited by a guy named Stephen Luke, however, he has been editing my article for a good 3+ hours. When I went to search for his name, I couldn't find him as a user. Suggestions?

Hey Eric, sorry I'm just getting to your question, but here's what I've found.

It looks like Stephen managed to edit your article. Not sure why it took him/didn't register for 3+ hours, but he definitely made edits to it. I noticed your question to him on your bulletin board, and in regards to that, the reason that his edits don't show up on the article history page is because Slide Shows on B/R function differently from normal articles. I don't know the technical reasoning behind it but edits made to slide shows don't show up on the article history page for some reason. It's inconvenient, but rest assured, the edits do show up on the actual slide show.

As far as your original question goes, if you're ever looking for someone to edit your article or are not satisfied with a edit, I would suggest doing just as you did, sending out messages to as many editing interns as you know, and one (or all) of them will eventually help you out and edit your piece.
