An Australian who has lived for extended stretches in Italy, South Korea and Argentina, Dan is a keen follower of most sports but probably knows most about football, the world game.
Clearly Fred and Jo and not the berst strikers in Brazil. Could you do an article on upcoming strikers from Brazil? thanks.
You sir are a joke..How is Argentina defense mediocre? Are you still stuck in 2010 are something like that? The Argentina defense has improved immensely under Sabella tenure and Argentina defense is way more organize than Germany, Italy and Holland etc all these teams have conceded way more goals than Argentina over the past 3 years.

“I’ve been coaching youth for over twenty years; Freddy Adu is pretty good, but he isn’t 13.” – Head Benfica Youth Coach (Said to me at our hotel in Dallas on Freddy Adu, after all the media hype about his being a phenom, being just 13 and playing up at u17 at the 2004 Dallas Cup)
Hello Dan. I noticed you know a bit about the South American game, so I'd like to ask you a question. Do you think Brazil should host the world cup? Please be specific in your answer.
Your "Most Overrated Footballers Right Now" list just doesn't cut it. No statistics, no analysis. You simply state what you believe to have seen without following up with the proper logistics. It also smacks of some favoritism considering you have multiple players from a single club making your list (AC Milan, Arsenal). Please write more positive articles.
Poorest Article writer ive ever seen, terrible footballing knowledge
how was aaron ramsey not on your list for the 20 best players of november? seriously. not trying to give you shit, i'm seriously confused though. 4 goals for arsenal, second highest rated player this season in the league
"In just a handful of games, Andros Townsend has emerged as one of England's most exciting young attacking players.
What separates him from the pack of speedy wingers competing for a World Cup berth is that he can not only go past opposition defenders, but he is savvy enough to know what to do with the ball when he does."
and what would that be? cut inside and blast a shot high and wide from 35 yards? he's one of the least-efficient shooters in the EPL and he's not exactly chalking up the assists at the moment. he has 3 goals (1 league, 1 europa league, 1 for england) from 54 shots for club and country this season, and 0 assists. furthermore, only 20 of those shots have been on goal, so roughly 63% of the time there isn't even a chance for a follow-up on a rebound. please explain to me how that's "knowing what to do with the ball" when he gets by the opposition?
