Currently residing as a skibum in Mammoth Lakes, California since 2005.

I am a San Diego Native. I was named after San Diego Padres pitcher Randy Jones. I grew up a Padres and Chargers fan so you know I am used to disappointment. My sister used to take me to San Diego Sockers games as a kid back in the 80's. That was San Diego's sports scene at its finest. I hopped on the Chargers bandwagon during the Stan Humphries and Natrone Means years and haven't gotten off since. I am a SDSU Alumni, and I still think back to the Marshall Faulk years with fond memories. It's been all down hill since then. Except for Rico Curtis, I used to play High School ball with that guy. (My Al Bundy moment.)

I began following world football when I studied abroad in 2001 at the University of London Union. I stayed in North London with a home stay mom from the Reds side of Liverpool who had a daughter dating an Arsenal hooligan. Needless to say their passion rubbed off on me. Since then I've been Liverpool faithful, 2001 was a great year to follow the Reds. My dog's name is Chelsea, because I can recall a time when Chelsea was Liverpool's 'bitch.'

I'm still praying San Diego will get an MLS team.

I am sitting on the windowsill of the Chargers closing window trying to wave them through!

As I step on the bandwagon at Petco finally, I will admit am just as surprised as you are with 'My' Padres.

    Hey Randy,

Decided to start doing weekly MLB Power Rankings. If you get the chance, I'd like it if you took a look. Thanks.
