About Zack »

I am a graduate of Saint Mary's College in California and am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. I wrote for three years, primarily in the sports section, for our college newspaper, The Collegian. During this time, I covered three NCAA top-25 teams, most notably the 2007-2008 Saint Mary's men's basketball team who reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005.

I follow my favorite teams, the Giants and Warriors, like few others. The Bay Area sports landscpae has been in disarray to quite a while but it finally seems to be settling down, especially on the San Francisco side of the Bay.

Oakland, ehh, not so much.

I follow the NBA, Major League Baseball, and D-1 college basketball very closely.

Today, I go back in time ten years ago in which the All Star Game was celebrated at Fenway Park in Boston. Arguably the most emotional All Star Game of all time as we celebrated a legend in Ted Williams who would not be with us much longer.
