I'm a graduate student in the midwest who loves college sports, especially football and basketball, with maybe a little hockey thrown in now and then. I've lived in Big 12 and Big 10 country and my allegiance is to the Sooners and the Spartans. I'll cheer for any Big 10 team in inter-conference play, especially against the SEC.

I can't watch the pros for team sports because seeing a guy earning millions while he spends most of his time on the sidelines just doesn't compute.

I fell in love with men's tennis during the Sampras/Agassi era, and then with women's tennis in the Hingis/Williams sisters years. I'd say I bleed tennis ball yellow, but that just sounds wrong. My favorite match-up is a serve-volleyer against a great baseliner, and I hope that isn't a relic of the past.
