Hey there sir! I was just bugging about the tickets. I couldn't take them from you, or could I expect you to sell them.
After the game when I look at the whole picture from a Rider fans perspective with my wife and friends, I am happy they made a comeback, because if Bowman hadn't made that catch, and the kick hadn't been blocked, the Riders confidence would have been low going into their next game. Those 2 plays gave them the confidence to move the ball well, and hold Calgary close in the end. That will go a long way for the team, but also for the fans.
I look forward to discussing football in general for a while now. At least until October 3rd that is.

Good game. The Riders deserved it. The defense played very well.
I'm going to be gone for the week, so if I don't reply to anything, it's not personal.
Have a great week, and I'll talk to you after the 10th...

You heard my show? You figured out which station I work for? Cool!
It will be a really good game because there is motivation on both sides. I've been trying to forget about it until tomorrow because too much thinking about it makes the time go so much slower. But come tomorrow, it's on!

I think the lost article thing happens in every browser. I use Firefox and if I am on the page too long, it makes me sign in again. BUT, if I hit back right away, the copy is still there. It still won't let me publish, but I just copy it into a text file, and then open the write process again and just paste the copy in. It's frustrating, but if you don't want to write the entire article in Word, that's the easiest way.

Hey man I didn't know your from Regina, you going to the game this weekend? Do you go the the Rider games often?

No need to apologize Kelly, I understand how frustrating it is to lose your work!
Honestly speaking, we haven't figured all out of the kinks of Safari yet as less than 5% of our membership uses this browser. What I would strongly recommend is downloading Firefox and using that for all things Bleacher Report:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Give it a whirl and let me know thoughts. Have a great weekend Kelly!

Hey Kelly,
First off: for the time being, I'd advise writing your articles in Microsoft Word and then copying/pasting into Bleacher Report so when this happens you don't lose everything.
Secondly: what exactly happens when you lose your work? Does an error message pop up?
Lastly: what browser are you using (Internet Explorer 6.0, IE 7.0, Firefox, Safari, etc.)? Mac or PC?
My sincerest apologies for the hassle man.

Don't worry. I don't need a last word. I got my thoughts out in my last novel. I completely disagree with you on almost everything, and it's not going to change your mind, but that's allowed. My opinion of you doesn't change just because your opinion is wrong. KIDDING!!!
We shall see how the season goes. I'll keep in touch when it comes to other writing.
One last thing...
Do you remember the "great" Travis Moore when he almost didn't show up in Regina? What did you think about that? Not a team player to me...

Hey Kelly! I respect what you have written in the past, and I guess I don't know you well enough to joke around like I was. Your response to my article was sarcastic and not at all looking at the facts I had posted. I kind of expected you to give credit to the points I had made. I was disappointed that you hadn't. Plus the "Heennnnnnnnrrrrryyyyy" chants really bother me. I wouldn't have expected them from you. That's why I came back with a response that was in the same tone. You defended your Riders, and I defended my Stamps. I am sorry if I made it seem like I am calling you 'High". That was not my intention. The statement was for anyone who doesn't give Henry credit for the ability he has. If people don't see that he is one of the best QB's in the league they aren't looking at the right person, or their opinion is impared, by bias, by anger, or whatever is imparing their view.
You have a great understanding of the Roughriders, and I see that. I do too, because I am a Riders fan, just not first. I've lived in Saskatchewan almost all my life but my dad was from Calgary. We cheered together. So I give credit to the Riders where credit is due. I expect the same for other teams if you want a good conversation. I am putting this out there so we can be friends and not have any misunderstandings like we just did. If I didn't have respect for you, I wouldn't have asked for your thoughts on Crandell and Durant. I too was a supporter of Crandell when he was in Calgary. He's a great guy! He can run an offense very well when it's scripted, but he doesn't run the 2 minute offense well, and he doesn't think super well on his feet. So I am not trying to attack him, I am just stating my reasons for not thinking he can lead this team to a Grey Cup.
I know what the Riders are all about, but I also know how the Riders fans are a lot of the time. I haven't lumped you in there or I wouldn't even be writing to you. I can't stand most Riders fans. They cheer when all is good, but give them the littlest thing to complain about and they'll do it! I know because I have A LOT of friends that are like that. They even complained about them not playing well in the Grey Cup. WHO CARES!!! They won the freaking Grey Cup! Don't complain after something like that! Sometimes I feel I am a better Riders fan than most, and I'm a Stamps fan! I don't know how many times I defended Kerry Joesph over the last two years when Riders fans were all over him. I am happy for the Riders for fans like my wife, and for fans like you, but if someone is going to be a fan, be a fan.
As a Stampeders fan, it is my feeling that you really don't know the Stamps if you think they are a ME team. They may have been in the past, but Henry is not a me player, and Nik Lewis was right along the sidelines cheering on his team when they sat him last year to rotate the receivers to fit them in. That shows me a team player right there. He also didn't say a thing when he only had 100 yards receiving in the first 2 games. Plus he took on 2 large players and sacrificed his body to make a big block for a teammate. Tell me that is a me player.
As for your comments about them not being very similar, I still disagree. With Durant as the QB(Which he will be this week. It was just announced) Durant is a Quarterback that can throw and run, and doesn't get phased under pressure. So is Henry. Joffrey and Wes are both very strong runners who can break tackles and break open big runs. They both have strong Run defenses, and maybe a little weaker against the pass. I agree that the Riders are playing well as a team which I have mentioned a few times before in articles.
So, I hope that you are reading this in the frame of mind that I am a friend giving my side of the opinion. I am not trying to be defensive. My article was designed to give credit to the Riders, but to state my opinions why I thought the Stamps were going to win. I had told you in advance, and so I was waiting for your thoughs. I was just a little disappointed when I read what I did.
So no hard feelings? Let's just keep supporting our teams in the Greatest League In The WORLD!

So Kelly. You've got to admit that both teams are very much alike, and it will be quite the battle come game time.
Also, who do you feel more comfortable with at QB? Durant of Crandell? I've seen Crandell for years in Calgary, so I know his strengths and his weaknesses. Having seen Durant play, I'd be riding him as far as possible! He's the future of the Riders.

Hey Kelly. I remember you saying you had interviews lined up with the Riders defensive coach and QB Drew Tate. I was wondering if you'd want to start a bit called "CFL Half-Time" articles that feature interviews with players. I happened to meet the Blue Bombers third string QB Bryan Randall today driving him to his place and got to talk to him about lots of CFL stuff.
