I am a 20-year-old Temple University Sophomore Broadcast Journalism major from Philadelphia. I enjoy writing, listening to music and spending time with those I care about. My passion for Philadelphia sports is something that is a major part of me and will be forever.

I interned with B/R last semester and now am hoping for more and more assignments as a Featured Columnist.

    Chamberlain. Chamberlain was the most dominant player ever to play the game. His 100 point game will never be duplicated.

    Orr. There's more to the game than just offense.

    Pele. Amazing athlete. Defined an entire era.

  • Federer or Sampras?

    Federer. Still in his prime and is already the best ever.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Tiger. Maybe not right now, but he's been the most dominant athlete of this generation. Even though it's in Golf.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

    Earnhardt, don't consider this a sport though.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

    Schumacher. Just because.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

    SEC. The toughest conference to compete in in college sports.

    How's Broad Street in November look now?

    '08 = WS win under Gillick

    '09 = WS loss under Amaro

    '10 = CS loss under Amaro

    '11 = DS loss under Amaro

    It's pretty clear to those of us living in the real world that he's leading the franchise in the wrong direction like I've said since before the season began.

    Any pearls of wisdom Andrew?

    Are you still trying to rewrite history with more of your "in depth" articles about how Amaro was somehow single-handedly responsible for everything from the Phillies winning the '08 WS to the creation of the Sun?

    Actually if you were literate enough to read you would see that unlike the majority of FC on this site I am 100% behind his deal for Pence and that I've been 100% behind his decision to stick with the kids in the bullpen as opposed to getting higher priced retreads.

    How have my eyes been opened Andrew?

    Has Amaro won a ring as the GM? No

    Do the Phillies have the best staff in MLB? No

    Does having the best record now in August matter? No

    If there is a parade down Broad Street in a few months then that's different.

    Until then things are no different then they were before the season.

    Flyers do the same thing each year. They lose in the end. Fans get all hype and a letdown comes year after year. Now they've found a goalie. Sound familiar? Hear this year after year. Leighton was the guy last year where is he now. Gotta laugh big ex Flyers Fan. Only 17 days until the real Philly team starts.

    It's been proven that the SEC is historically superior to the Big Ten and again looks to be this bowl season. Is what you wrote. How is the SEC's 3-7 head to head bowl record the last 5 years superior? Losing 70% of the time not superior on any level. If you want to go to 10 years the SEC has a slight 11-9 advantage. Hardly superior. Your age is shows bravado w/o the knowledge. If you aspire to a career in journalism, learn to get facts straight!
