Even after 25 years, I'm still a fan of pro-wrestling (not sports entertainment). I grew up with Lucha Libre, AAA, NWA, WCW, WWF, USWA, ECW, NJPW, and others I'm probably forgetting.
I just wanted to say I enjoyed our discussion on the Roman Reigns article. It's always fun to have discussions like that.
cm punk sucks he's a joke for God sake
I think Orton can be awesome. He used to be really robotic, but he's gotten much better over the years IMO. I wish him/Edge had a proper feud though :(
XD so that means you were watching both! Thats pretty cool because youd get to compare them afterwards. So from what I can tell, you preffered WcW alot more. Interesting. And that is a very true statement, the fans certainly did win. Because they got to witness pro wrestling in its prime, at is peak, at its best.
That's a really popular one. And both their finishers can happen at anytime too! So it makes it even more exciting an unpredictable! Who is.. the coldest snake?
Yeah I think the reason why the WWE were at its best during the AA was because they NEEDED to be. Now they're really relaxed about things, and at times can get really lazy. TNA like to flatter themselves and think they're big competition. Whilst they are the biggest competition outside WWE, they arent even close. I got told by Alden, during the wars, you'd flick between WWE/WcW to see who'd be putting on the better show.
Was he any good?
Agh its doing it again :( Idk wth is going on...
AHHH I cant type anything about Bret Hart XD Ill write something again when you next reply :)
(its the Bret Hart paragraph that wont send through)
That DDT he did looks like it was one of those finishers that you cant get enough of. Like the RKO. Its like BAM, out of nowhere. He seemed like a badass back then. One of those calm, calculating villains. So, if you were to fantasy book a match with him. Whod be the opponent?
Wow, nobody really talks about WcW in positive light here. Except Alden XD He told me WWE's roster was paper thin by the mid 90s. Must be because WcW was the place to BE at that time. From the sounds of it, WWE would've never made it had it not been for the AA. Because that roster right there sounds STACKED.
That actually sounds awesome. Imma need to check that out. I hear Sin Cara was a really popular luchador.. shame his run didnt end too well. Wasnt Del Rio a luchador at some point too?
Okay I send it in parts, (reverse order).
My reply wont send :/
Its a shame he never became world champ :/ He defo deserved it. Im guessing you were a big fan of the snake too?
I dont know that much about NwA tbh. All this was before my time x__x But thats why its cool to have users like yourself. You can tell me all about it :D
Did you ever watch WcW? What was that like?
Hm, Ive never really paid much thought to Lucha Libre. Does Rey do a good job representing masked wrestlers?
Can you tell me about Bret Hart? :)
