I am the Grand Prize Winner of the Office Winter Games Contest! I will be one of two accredited bloggers for Microsoft Office at the 2010 Vancouver Games (go to www.officewintergames.com for more information).
As a wee Canadian lassie, I developed a passion for winter sports and have lived in two Olympic cities: Calgary and Salt Lake City. My favorite events include skating, skiing and hockey. I also owe my very life to curling--my parents met whilst on the same local curling team.
I worked for a number of years as a publicist in Utah's ski industry and as an adventure-travel writer. I now live in Denver where I am the founder and editor of The Denver Post's MileHighMamas.com and freelance as a family travel writer. I still dapple in the ski industry and am a "Snowmama" for Park City Mountain Resort's Snowmamas.com and also developed a social media campaign this winter involving local bloggers for Colorado Ski Country USA.
I started blogging long before it was cool at http://www.crazybloggincanuck.com.
Amber, even though the 30 anniversary for the Miracle on Ice was two days ago, I decided to take a look back at arguably the greatest sporting event in American history.
Please take a look at it and tell me what you think of it.
If you could also pass this on, that would be greatly appreciated
