So maybe "unemployed wrestler" is a bad term to use. I guess my problem with wrestlers is that they tend not to go for finishes and only look for control. I guess I agree with Nick Diaz, being smothered for 3 rounds while the guy avoiding the fight wins the fight. It's not fair. And if you look at the records of several wrestlers in MMA they're riddled with decisions and split decision victories. Rashad Evans has 8 finishes to 10 decision wins and he has 4 split decision wins and one majority decision win. Gray Maynard has 10 decision wins and 2 stoppage wins, including 3 split decisions. Ben Askren is another offender in this category, with 6 decision wins. Plus listening to Frankie Edgar's interviews before he fought Henderson for a second time. He talked about how he thought he won like three rounds. I think fighters need to stop worrying about what rounds they won or didn't win and try to finish fights.
