My follow-up to the worst Packer Picks - Meet the BEST Packer picks:

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/153420-the-best-green-bay-packer-first-round-draft-picks-of-the-last-50-years

    Look forward to your comments...

  2. Never looked at it as him leaving open comedic windows lol but i guess it does.

  3. Hey you wanna know what i think? I might be wrong but ummm...

Are you a Packer Fan that sometimes takes "in between the lines" shots at brett farve? your articls tell me you dont like him anymore lol

  4. thank for the comment, but its been years since i've lived in Chicago, but i don't forget my roots. I just love the Bears, try not to hate on other teams or their fans since they're goals of seeing a championship is the same as mine. good luck, and here to hoping we can get a franchise QB like you guys have been lucky enough to have for so many years.

  5. Was Bart Starr underrated or overrated. I love to hear what you think?

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/147037-bart-starr-is-clearly-underrated

  6. I'm not thinking that I should be getting any kind of breaks for anything, ever.

I just was posting around something that I was amused by, and thought others might get a chuckle out of.

Things like that make everything worth it to me.

I don't care what you think about it, or about me. You are not underneath my skin, you have no clue what I've put up with in my time.

I'm just sitting here, so OF COURSE I will respond.

  7. Plus it looks like a good number of people are reading that article, that you say no one was reading.

  8. Why are you being a jerk? I didn't slam on your article with anything but my profile. I am a Marine sitting behind a desk on duty bored as hell. Give me a break buddy. You started it by telling me my article was stupid. If you didn't get a laugh out of it, just leave it be man. So sad that you are so jacked about it.

  9. Like a little Packers History?

Here's my Mt. Rushmore of the Green Bay Packers

  10. Josh, thanks for the pick of the day, and for the fan add. I really appreciate it! :)

  11. Hey,

Thanks for reading my article helping me win "pick of the day."

    Casey

  12. Hey I like the Dark Knight avatar. Can't wait to see it.

I understand what you're saying about relating... But can the younger generation of today relate to the race riots of the late 60's and early 70's? That stage was set with the introduction of the movie.

Similarly, the timeline of the 1970s major news events at the beginning of Miracle set the stage for that historic event.

I think both are great movies, and have watched both numerous times. I also have both soundtracks, and enjoy both (though Miracle is missing "Dream On" by Aerosmith).

And since "We Are Marshall" came out, it inched ahead of "Titans" in my book, since it does an even better job of portraying the events and emotions surrounding them. My parents are both Marshall alum, and can speak to the events with clarity.

One thing that both "Titans" and "Marshall" have in common is a mistake. CSX trains are visible in both (as are modern Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific locomotives in "Marshall"), and CSX didn't exist until 1987. Oops. Really only something a model railroader like myself would catch.

The topic of sports movies makes for fun discussion.

  13. I agree, I'm sick of all the nay sayers hating on the Pack!

  14. Sorry again for the seemingly malicious comments, I reread my second post, and realized my light hearted sarcasm perhaps didn't come through as intended.

I wanted to let you know actually that foxsports linked to the scout.com vikingsbuzzblog which in turn linked to your article. here is the link if you want to throw it someone like myself's face at a later date :-)
