About

Mr. Dan (aka SDOGO from the NFL message board world), 33 soon to be 34 year old father of 3 and Husband to my loving wife of 6 years soon to be 7. I'm a avid Dallas Cowboys and Penn St. Nittany Lions fan. Born and raised in Western NY I moved the family to the sunny and much warmer state of South Carolina 3 years ago.

My background in journalism is slim and none. I'm not going to lie to you. My spelling is horrid and grammar would make any English teacher groan in pain. I might not have made it through High School English if were not for the fact that my English teacher (RIP Mrs. Edwards) was just as big a football fan and team supporter as she was a teacher and a friend.

My area of expertise is solely embedded in scouting and numbers. I spent many years putting together the opinions for the people who did know how to write. Dont let these NFL draft nicks fool ya, they dont do all the work themselves. On the topic of the NFL Draft, that's what I'm here for. My background includes working as a independent scout under the tutelage of Ray Briggs most recently and Gary Horton for many years prior. Spent a few years working under David Hinson for the Buffalo Bills. I also have made my way around more then a few NFL Draft Sites including most recently TSN. 2 years ago I left the scouting business to once again become a fan of the game. The time and politics involved with scouting took the fun out of it for me. Now I look forward to sharing my insight as a fan of the game and a draft geek as I once did.

I hope you all enjoy my work and cut me a little slack for lack of expertise and history for writing articles. There is no chance I'm ever going to make everyone happy and if that's the case, just consider it not your day.

It's nothing personal, just my opinion.

Mr. Dan
