Re: Red Wings playoffs since 1990. If you really want to make that sound like a LONG time ago... Johnny Carson still had 2 years left on The Tonight Show. Jay Leno was a standup comedian with occasional guest spots on Carson and Letterman. Oh - and I have to agree with Schumacher. But, had Senna lived, it might be a different story. Finally, for All-Time Sports Moment (just my opinion), it had to be Kirk Gibson's home run. Your choice is great, but only Red Wings and Avs fans really remember that. Fans from any country that plays baseball and watches the World Series remember Kirk - especially Americans, even those who aren't baseball fans.
