YESS!!! im ecstatic about this win, i wish we'd score more but 3-1 is fine. Ancelotti second half tactics are just insane, even mou cant come up with that
Exactly, ive been saying it alot, im beginning to see more and more of his weaknesses than his strength. He needs space to thrive or he'll be invisible throughout the game. He needs to work on his dribbling and finishing under pressure, thats the areas that kills him.
This is my new account, that other one is frozen.
James, just like any other new signing needs time but he was expensive and the biggest pressure of being an expensive player is that you HAVE to hit the ground running like last week or you'll be labeled a flop in no time. Im not saying anything about him till january.
Chicha is just the player we need, someone good enough to come off the bench and do something in the second half. We dont need someone challenging benzema for the number one spot, that didnt work well last time with Higuain and benzema.
Im more worried about bale's form, last season we were all saying, "OHHH i cant wait to see what he'll be like when he has a full preseason, yati yata yata", well now he had a preseason and he's been inconsistent and crap for the most part, HE CANT DRIBBLE LOL, his weaknesses are seeping out more and more with each bad performance he puts in
Wep, di maria is gone. Honestly, i dont feel anything for it other than we lost a great player
Yes he is, he's looking good, hope he keeps it up and Di Maria has to go, he looked miserable on that bench tonight. Cant have him wasting away. As much as i'd love isco to be a starter, as long as he gets enough games, he's good and im good G, how have you been?
hey norman, how have you been? long time no speak. I hope all is well with you. As you should know that im outraged at the acquisition of james rodriguez considering our depth and the fact that WE DONT NEED HIM. But some of our brain dead fans are clamoring for him and expecting ancellotti to fit him in like magic. Its saddening, very few reasonable fans on this site. W have a winning formula with the 4-3-3 and perez is about to ruin it again, this transfer has the beckham for makelele transfer all over it. With Beckham being rodriguez and makelele being di maria
How much will Mandzukic cost though? I'm 50/50 on him too actually lol, i don't know man, I guess whatever happens when it comes to finding a Benz back-up happens lol. I'm starting to give up speculating/guessing/analyzing, getting to the point where I can't be bothered anymore. Though I will add I would prefer Mr. Flo-bro to not avidly chase after Suarez/Aguero/et al, they are not needed and will be expensive. At this point a back-up striker, a winger and maybe a midfielder depending on how the transfer window plays out should be enough in my opinion. Do you think we might need another CB though? Maybe not an elite defender because Pepe is highly likely to stay this summer but just a bit more cover in that department..?
Believe me, I too am very frustrated with Morata's finishing abilities and his tendency to do shit in games we are not winning 3/4-0. However, the reason I have always been a big fan of Morata is his insane physical presence, with his speed and strength. He is also quite good in the air, and is all-around very athletic. Next year I think he will be less nervous and start putting in some confident touches on the ball and do something
I don't know bro I just feel our back-up should be an alternative to Benz' style if not both. I'd like our #2 to be strong, physical, good in the air and a bit more clinical in front of net. Benz is great in connecting BBC together, creating space, smart movement etc but I'd like someone who could offer something different in the mold of a Mario Gomez? Immobile? Jackson Martinez (probably a little too expensive tho) but you get what I'm looking at. I know Morata looks a little rough right now with his touches/finishing/etc but what do you expect, he barely plays, he's lucky to get a 10 minute spell in every 2 weeks which doesn't help him. I think he's the right #2 if he can work on his finishing, he's tall, strong, a work horse and is young and won't mind being a #2 right now.
I've seen a few games of Rodrigo here and there and he does work hard, seems to be pretty technical, fast and a decent passer but he's pretty easy to be pushed off the ball, finishing I guess is okay but I think he lacks that physical/CB battling CF that would come in handy for this team. I know CFs that can compliment Bale/CR/Jese is pretty important but there is also going to be those situations/opponents/instances where we are going to need a DROGBA-esque (okay I exaggerated lol) striker. Also in the case of injuries if Bale and/or Ronaldo go down we might need that scoring output from somewhere else, and Benz is talented enough to where he can deploy out wide or behind the striker if Carlo should call for that and adjust his tactics.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm not like 100% against a signing like Rodrigo but just feel we could do with an alternative to Benz' style for the #2 spot, that's all, hell Rodrigo could come in and prove me wrong just like Bale did so who knows.
Which way are you leaning towards when it comes to the whole Benz back-up situation?
