Hey sports fans,

i'm currently in the first year of a history degree at the University of York, but am from Boston (the original) in the South of Lincolnshire, England. I'm also currently a sports correspondent for our university newspaper, Nouse, and would like to pursue a career in journalism in the future.

I've always been a passionate follower of many sports, but especially football and cricket, I support Boston United (who play in the Conference North, the sixth tier of the English game) because they're my hometown team and Manchester United. I always try to take in as many Boston matches as possible during my university holidays, but i also watch York City and Swansea City matches. I follow cricket closely also, but usually just at international level, and often watch England test matches at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
