Patti's Bio

Well thanks for checking out my Bleacher Report page.Just a quick bio on myself; I am 23 and journalism major. I love NASCAR, in fact if you ask anyone who knows me it's all I talk about. My dream interview would be Jeff Gordon, Richard Petty and Raymond Parks.

Here is a little about why I write for B/R. I want to get better at my writing. I will never be perfect at this but I sure want to try to be. I have always wanted to be a writer, I have always wanted to do something important to be a voice for one person or for 1000 people. Yes, readers counts and comments are important to a certain extent. I want you to read my work because I can bring you a different angle.

I have learned one thing recently, that as a writer it is my responsibility to tell you the whole story. That I can't be afraid to say what I think, even if you disagree with me. I won't always write what you want to read, but I am honest and I will always make sure my work is backed up with facts or stats.

I write about NASCAR. I will try other sports but my "expertise" ( I guess you can call it that) is NASCAR. When I write I hope you as a reader can sense my passion and enjoyment and down right obsession sometimes.

I am first and foremost a fan. But I also am a writer and to be quite honest were all fans first and without that passion and excitement that makes us fans of our favorite sports then I guess we shouldn't be here.
