Syracuse-Georgetown: Syracuse Zone Stifles, Orange Weather Hoyas' Hot Start
January 26, 2010
I am a proud New York sports fan and I passionately support the real New York teams: Yankees, Giants, Knicks and Rangers.
Baseball is my true love as I still play summer travel ball. I am a season ticket holder in the bleachers at Yankee Stadium and have gone to many a game by myself. The creatures are a great bunch. I believe in on-base percentage over batting average, but also the stolen base and the sacrifice bunt. Moneyball neglects the fact that the game is played by human beings.
As for my experience in the sports communication industry, I received a journalism degree from Fordham University where I had stints as sports editor of both school newspapers. I have had an article on The Hambletonian published in the Los Angeles Times. I also interned at 1050 ESPN Radio, contributing to programs such as The Michael Kay Show, hosted by the voice of the Yankees.
thanks for the edit man
Thanks for the edits and feedback on my recent Baylor Basketball piece; always appreciated...
Thx for taking the time to edit my article Bill.
Bill,
I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but you've been "editing" my article (according to the Editors queue, at least) for over an hour. If you're just making some VERY extensive edits (lol), that's fine, but I just want to make sure you haven't accidentally left the webpage open and are unintentionally warding other editors away from my slideshow. Let me know when you get this, and sorry if you're just "doing your job"!
