Bela is currently working toward completing his thesis in Applied Intelligence. The research skills that he has garnered over six years of university and graduate level studies have allowed him to produce the wonderful articles that you read. Bela took his ability to analyze most situations and applied it to his love for soccer. He is also maintains a personal blog. It contains his thoughts on random subjects.
Bela is interested in, and writes mostly about, the English Premiership. He is a fan of Chelsea. He is also a fan of Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League. On the international level, Bela supports the US. Bela is an avid goalkeeper and to that extent, he loves any team with a strong net minder. But apart from favorite teams, Bela loves the sport of football en general.
Bela is also a fan of hockey. He is expanding his writing to cover his Nashville Predators as much as possible.
Bela had a memorable first year with Bleacher Report. Two of his humor centered articles were well received among the site members. He has also sparked lively debate with his piece about Freddy Montero and a debate about rather or not players should complain about the money they receive.
In his spare time Bela enjoys reading, especially in the areas of international relations, intelligence, history, and hooliganism. He also loves music. His favorite band for some time now has been Flogging Molly. Bela also likes to cook and have the random kick about with his mates,

Hey Bela,
The John Terry allegations have been well documented now, and in the latest Great Debate article I ask a lot of questions surrounding it, mainly "has it damaged England's World Cup hopes?" I think it has, but not for the reasons you might expect...
Also, Was Capello right to strip Terry of the captaincy? Is Ferdinand the right man to replace him? and what are your overriding thoughts on the whole farce?

Hey,
Following up yesterday's great debate is the one I've been waiting to write for a long time, and the one I think may be the best debate yet and a must-read for any football fan! Should video technology be introduced into football? Would doing so take away from the 'magic' that makes the game so great? And would it help or hinder the referees? Have your say in the Great Debate!

Hey Bela, in what I hope to be a new feature to the site, I've written a comprehensive biography of France Legend Michel Platini, it's long so I can understand if you don't have the time to look at it but otherwise I'd really appreciate your opinion on it.
