Toby's Bio

Hi my name is Toby Christie. My first race I ever watched was the 1993 Daytona 500 (The first Dale and Dale show) it was on that day I chose my favorite driver Dale Earnhardt. I respect the sport, and have watched every race since that day. I am what some could consider to be a NASCAR historian in the making. I know a lot of fun facts, and have researched the "good ole days" of racing A LOT!! I would love to eventually be involved in broadcasting of NASCAR races or on a NASCAR analyst show, or maybe a racing related podcast. If you have a show like this or you need someone to write NASCAR articles for you I am the man for the job. In my articles I stay unbiased, but I also find a way to help the reader with my opinions.

  7. Toby,

OK, so I'm the new Community Leader for the Nationwide Series — the newest community here on B/R... and I'd like to formally invite you to join the community and help me make it grow.

    http://bleacherreport.com/nationwide-series

Whether you want to write, comment or do both, I'd like to have you as a member of the community to give the series some well deserved attention.

This season looks to be another wild one as several Cup regulars crash the part while the likes of Brad Keselowski and Jason Keller try and keep the big boys from bullying them.

So come join me in the Nationwide Series Community — and don't forget to tag any Nationwide Stories with the appropriate tag now!

    Ben

  8. Check out my latest story:

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/117149-mark-martin-already-a-champion

It's a feature I wrote on Martin on how even though he lacks the championship trophy, he is still a champion of NASCAR.

    Thanks.

    David
