  1. Thanks for the attention given my limericks re the playoffs. They look a little different without stanzas, but I do enjoy the hobby. Thanks again, BJ

  2. Thanks, Tim. Quick question: How did that Early Entrants article of mine get so many hits so quickly?

  3. Thanks man I appreciate it, since school is winding down I actually have some free time to write now and how to contribute a little more.

  4. I thought about that, and then first thing I cast a biased vote. Beyond a coach and a couple of players, I can honestly say that most of my picks (which I already have a list of many) will not be from UofA. So, hopefully everyone else will try to be objective in casting their votes.

    Thanks for the feedback!

  5. Hi Tim -
A personal thanks for selecting my work as the article of the day. I was really surprised at how many people agreed with the text of the article. Go figure.

As always, keep up the solid work on the bleacher report...

    Best,
    Ben

  6. Hey, thanks a lot for the post and fan choosing thing. Haha I enjoyed the heaven article a lot!

  7. Ya most of my commentors are from people who just comment and never write any articles. I really love this site though, I know sports, just need to get it out, you know?
And thank again, If I need any words of encournagement or great article ideas I will surely turn to you haha

  8. Thanks for the comment -- I actually have been away from my computer for a WHOLE WEEK...with good reason :) I attended my first-ever NCAA games this weekend (the South Regional in Houston). Along with...a Rockets game...and an Astros game...ya know...my wife's a great sport :) I'll have some more "Commentary from the Cheap Seats" soon!

  9. Seems like kind of an odd fit, huh?

I can't really explain it, the only real Philly connection I have with the Rays was Kevin Stocker playing there for a couple years. I guess I just like the way they committed to rebuilding, got some great young players, and stay tough even in the AL East. Plus Scott Kazmir's my boy.

  10. Thanks for the vote for article of the day. Keep up the great work.
    -David

  11. Okay, so I love this site. It's taken my time away from Facebook. A good thing. I've started to write most articles.

    I need help!!!
When I hit "return" the article does not appear to skip a line when I hit submit?

And how to I underline and body?

    Thanks,
    GO BADGERS!

  12. thanks for noticing my picture - now if i could just defeat super macho man.

  13. Hey I appreciate the correction about McKinley. For some reason I thought he was gone, so accept my apology for the incorrect info. However I still think they go 6-6 or 7-5 because I see them losing two swing games against NC State and Kentucky. Also, for the record, I actually can't stand Florida and they only reason that I'm taking them to go undefeated is because everyone else (besides Georgia) are not on their level this year. I will correct that info about the reciever though.

And your Palmetto logo tends to make me believe that you have a major Gamecock bias, so don't be offended if I hesitate to take your optimistic outlook at face value.

  14. Thank you so much for agreeing with me on the comment that the one guy left on my women's basketball article.

  15. Hey, no problem!
I've actually been to St. Augustine many times since I've been here, most recently for my one-year anniversary. You're right, it is a really unique town. I'm hoping t go back at the end of next month when school ends.
