  1. Nice weather? Day off? I seem to be unfamiliar with those concepts...I just finished spring semester and summer classes start Monday. Oh yeah did I mention it's May 10 and we woke up to freakin' snow? That's right, it's snowing today. So much for my son's soccer. It's been cancelled twice now due to snow and they've only had 3 weeks so far.

At least I can look forward to a trip to Montreal in a few weeks. North Dakota may kill me yet.

  2. Where have you been? I've posted a piece on Barilko, just like I promised. Enjoy!

  3. I remember Raycroft. he was in the net in 2004, when we won against boston in the playoffs. and then I saw him again when u guys eliminated us last year! lol; I guess he will like it in Montreal!

from a Habs perspective, I guess it is good to have the young guns coming up. but clemensen will be UFA, as far as I remember. u can let him go, have Raycroft traded for I dont know what kind of player u need in ur team, and have toskala and pogg together.

or u'd like halak ? lol
he is not an artist but he can do nice things!

  4. I just heard that u ll get doug wilson to run ur team ?

  5. yeah it is good for dallas,
in montreal, we need a center, a kind of power forward who can score, and win face offs. a kind of saku koivu but with a bit more energy. i checked your guys roster, and sundin is the only one that gets to be UFA. instead, there is pohl but I dont think he would get to be a 20 minutes TOI guy, right?

by the way, what are u going to do with ur three goalies?

  6. forget what I just said about brunnstrom, he goes to dallas .

  7. you see, u gotta make a call to gainey at first if u really want the artist. that guy needs a looooot of attention, u gotta get him to coffees and restaurants to talk to him, to get him happy and comfortable. he is good on the ice, but when he decides to play his baby, u gotta pay a high price to get him back! lol

alright then, what will u do with brunnstrom once u ll sign ur contract?! let him to us, please. and we can give you ... mhh ... saku koivu! lol

  8. by the way, the player on ur profile pick: he used to play for the nordiques right? from greek family?

  9. helloo!

alright future leafs GM/coach! :-D; I am sorry I gotta say no for AK to go with u guys in return of raycroft. raycroft is cool, but I dont think gainey would let go our best scorer.
what do u say if we get Sundin (i dont think he even likes the habs though! lol), would he be a nice addition to our young team? then, I guess Koivu will have a heart attack, another veteran coming on to steal the show!
our goalie coach is roland melanson, he used to be an islanders goalie back in the times. and he has been roy's backup at some point too. he is a great goalie coach, he makes us proud with the boys out there.
for koivu/kovalev: people say that koivu did not like that kovalev got the C when he was injured. usually, it is 3 A instead of keeping the C. so it was kind of threatening Koivu that everyone now sees the artist as the new big leader in the room. the thing is that they cant get rid of kovalev, after what he has proven this year.

I like tucker especially that he started to score some in the final run for the playoffs. but I dont think he would get along being back in Montreal ...

  10. Hi Miah, there is talk in T.O. (now that Maurice is gone!!) that Tucker and McCabe will be bought out of their contracts..wow..

As for the Habs and your goalies, you always find a way to develop young goalies..is Rick Walmsley your goalie coach? I don't think that you need to worry about Price, this kid is nails! All he needs is nurturing by a good coach. He will only grow stronger, not weaker from that experience. Montreal was a lot like Philly this year, no one expected them to go anywhere. Then they kept winning and won the conference and like any rabid hockey town, the expectations were huge, even though your team was so young..The media here are reporting that Koivu does not like the free-spirited, laissez-faire attitude of Kovalev and that Koivu would like to see the AK47 traded...is this what you hear in Montreal?

I would use Halak as trade bait and you are right I would bring in veteran..I am interviewing for the Leaf GM/Coach job, if I get either one I'll trade you Raycroft with two rolls of tape and a couple of Sher-Wood hockey sticks for AK47, how does that sound?

    P.S. I published my Final Four article today..FYI.. :)

  11. not a bad idea for Stajan ... and tucker? does it look like he will stay ?

I heard about Sundin's fiance being a lot younger than him, still this guys seemed to have been creating a lot of controversy since he refused to take off his non-trade clause.
I agree, a younger team always gets better. but u gotta need some experience to get them through. take a look at the habs, they pay a 37 year old guy $700, 000 just to check out on the young guns, and give some experience in the dressing room ...

I'd like your opinion on one point: would u keep Halak or would u want an experienced goalie to look over PRice? If I had to chose, I would have gone for Kolzig ...

  12. if I go get drunk with the mood I am in right now, u'll see me on TV for having devastated the bell center and burn some jerseys on the street ! haha

well, let's face it, they did not have the guts to get those wins. they will learn ...

by the way, we did not have the time to talk about the leafs, but are u guys interested in Brunnstrom? and what about Sundin ?

  13. done and almost humiliated!!!

    :p

  14. thanks, I am just trying to find another way than depression to face the whole situation!! lol

so, I hope u got urself ready to see some elimination or some great surprises tomorrow night! either way, be prepare to face something new ! lol

  15. thanks,
there is no real goalie controversy in fact, I guess the coach got messed up in his own decisions. Price was not great, in fact he was really bad. it is wierd, but yeah, he has got to roll with Price.

Putting Halak was a big mistake, but it is done now. someone needs to clean after that, and as usual, that someone is Price.

I think Price needs to drop by ur store to get a good glove, his own is not working good at all!

    :)
