Chris's Bio
Looking into taking journalism very soon. Writing and talking about hockey is something I feel I can do any time of the day and have a blast doing it. I am very opinionated but can respect a polar opinion if the writer can say it logistically and without making it a personal attack.
I've grown up playing hockey since I was 3. And now, turning 18, the game still means as much to me as it did back then (maybe even more so because I know players' names haha). My family is influenced by hockey of every era, and I myself am glad to say that I've had a strong supporting cast as I have played hockey from houseleague to AA to playing for my highschool team.
My grandfather is probably the biggest reason I look at hockey the way I do. People see it as a game, where he sees it as an art. I've picked up on that over the last several years and am proud to say that I am one of the only people I know who follow the game with great passion (other than you guys here at BR).
Anybody who reads or comments my articles on BR are more than welcome to voice their thoughts on the piece. If it wasn't for the people on here I would still have a one-dimension opinions on many things. Hope to write things that interest you guys as you do for me.

Chris, I'm getting a hockey roundtable together and I want you to be in on it. If you would like to take part, please EMAIL me your answer to this question in about two to three paragraphs.
(Email is nyr1199@comcast.net)
With the draft long passed and all the big name free agents gone off the market, what teams do you feel did the best during this offseason? Also, what teams did the worst during the offseason? And please explain why.
Thanks,
Greg Caggiano

Great, looking forward to it. As long as you are sure you want Edmonton and not take a number 2 spot, it sounds good. I know Bryan and I just want a consistent, passionate, hockey smart group of team CL's. Keep me updated, and if you need anything let me know.

Ok, then going forward with Edmonton interest, do some work on the Oilers this off season. Sorta monopolize on their news like i do ducks stuff. My advice is use the website and edmonton newspaper as sources. Once you get some Edmonton articles under your belt (like 5 -10) Ill talk to BT about adding you on.
Last question: Being a CL can devote time, not that i expect you to write daily but as a CL how often come the season would you guess youd be writing?

Bryan and I are in the search for NHL team CL's, and the only spot for the teams you have a mind for are already taken by one. You have the talent (i think) to be the top guy, plus its a waste to stick you as a number two when we need other positions filled. This is completely off the record and I haven't spoken to BT or Zander this is to feel out your thoughts.
For one thing I'm not sure where you live, which makes it hard for me to know what teams you can easily follow. Of the teams you list as favorites Edmonton and Washington are available. Unless you would prefer to be a secondary CL. Either way i was just gonna get an idea of who your main team is, and see if I could get you to focus on that team so that BT and I can better find a place for you to get more involved (if you want to be). Being a CL is a sometimes tough, but fun job.
let me know your thoughts.
