Born and raised a UM fan. Nobody in my family had gone to college, so by default we were Wal-Mart Wolverines. Who doesn't love a winner, right? I came to see the light my freshman year of college at a small D3 school in Ohio. I visited East Lansing for the first time in my life. That's all it took, one day. I promptly transferred to the gorgeous campus of Michigan State University and have never been more proud to say I'm a Spartan. Pride in my university, it's beautiful campus, and the great city of East Lansing are always present.

Animosity for Ann Arbor is not hard to come by. Moreso, however, I have animosity towards those fans of Michigan that will talk trash to me for being a Spartan. They tell me how bad State is as a school and in athletics. The punchline comes only when I ask what degree they've received from Michigan. They fall silent, and I chuckle. GO STATE!!!

    MY APOLOGY. Danny, I appreciate the fact that take the time to read some of my articles. I don't want everyone to think I'm some elitist prick (I certainly came off as one last night). I had a horrible day and took it out some guy on the internet that did not deserve it.

    Sean, I sincerely apologize for acting the way I did. It was very late at night, and I had a really rough day. It wasn't right for me to bash you like I did. My main point was to do a little more research. I enjoy your writing, and I hope that (even though we don't know one another) that we can be "BR friends" and work together for the same cause.... writing about Michigan State. I really am sorry, I don't know what got into me. As for the backlash from guys like Runyan and Jb, I'd hope that someone would defend MY opinion if some prick thought he was so high-and-mighty (ME) and blasted me. Again, I am very sorry.
