I am a 21 year-old student attending Mercy College in New York, majoring in journalism. Hey AJ
How about making a case in your rec-cap to move Giambi, Matsui or Nady into the 4th spot and moving A-Rod down the line-up where his bat demands he hit?
How many times has Giambi's glove actually cost NY a game in late inngs? Now compare how many times Giambi has been pulled in late inngs, only to have a lesser hitter at the plate in clutch situations?
I dont think this is the time, 6 back (now 7), to play the cute little defensive improvement game regarding first base - it's one thing when your replacing Giambi with Tino Martinez - quite a difference when its Sexson or Ransom...we're still relying on kids.
how about something like this to wake A-Rod up -
damon - jeter - matsui - giambi - nady - aord - abreu - pudge - cano't ?
....I know I am too tough on Abreu, but I feel more comfortable with nady matsui and giambi...just a thought.

Yeah it goes both ways.
Red Sox fans can be pretty nasty, but I have some friends who are Sox fans.
Yeah for example:
Derek Jeter: a Yankee forever
Yeah sadly, thats the only example I can think of that play now!

It really stinks when we post an article and it doesn't show up on the Yankees page... whats the point of writing an article if only 8 or 9 people, if that, are going to see it.

Yanks are picking it up a notch, I like what I see. 5 GB in the Wild isn't far. Whats with the top writer rankings??? Odd.

AJ - seems you were on the ball - Carera sent down to AAA
Sexson has been waived too. Giese is on DL whihc totals 3 spots on the roster -
Sexson = right handed hitter....know any right-handed replacements? Good call on sheff - I was thinking the same thing - as was Hank.
