About

I am a junior journalism student and member of the women's varsity soccer program at Northwestern University. Along with my studies in journalism I will also be pursuing a minor in gender studies. My passion for writing and sports has led me to work on several publications on campus including Schmooze, the only collegiate Jewish magazine published nationally and Abroad View, a study abroad magazine. Last summer I interned with the Women's Professional Soccer office and gained great insight on working inside a sports organization and publishing sports articles. When I'm not on the field or in the classroom you can find me outside either with my longboard or my camera.

    Thanks for the compliment on my article and feedback. I am aware of the idea of keeping paragraphs short. I don't think I have any paragraph longer than 3 sentences in this article. However, some the quotes and other sentences are fairly long in this particular article.

    Hey, you play soccer for NW. My oldest, graduated in 2007, played for Marquete University. Cool.
