BYOB's Bio

First of all let me begin by saying my name is Matt. BYOB is just a reference I came up with to describe the fact that I watch more sports than I play these days. I am a big fan of MMA, baseball and hockey. Being a typical Minnesota guy I start the football season liking the Vikings and by mid-season end up frustrated and not liking football anymore. I am however, a loyal fan to the Twins and the Wild. I'm also known to joke around, so if you are coming to my profile to be mad at me, keep that in mind. I was probably just messing with ya. Don't look to me to be worried if you get mad, just smile and get over it. Life is short, don't spend it pissed off.

    For sure about the wild tickets. We go at least a couple of times every year. I grew up as a youngster in Michigan so I grew up a Red wings fan, and we go to that game every year. The Xcel is just a great place to see a hockey game, concerts can be iffy sometimes but Hockey never disappoints. I went to see the Twinkies in the Dome yesterday and actually had a good time which usually doesn't happen in the Dome for me. 33 hits 19 runs, not exactly a defensive battle.

    We are doing another group article and if you want you should write up a paragraph and send it to rywales@hotmail.com. The topic is: Will Brick Lesnar ever be UFC Heavyweight Champion.

    That sucks. I'll have a six buck a piece plastic bottle beer for you! My wife is stoked she gets to see Roger. She has a thing for pretty hispanic guys I guess. I'm really excited to watch the place go nuts when Lesnar comes out.

    I'm trying to talk some friends into taking a road trip to UFC 90. The drive sucks but I can't miss a chance to see Silva again. The guy is sick! Hope all goes well in IL, Keep Goodhue Rockin!

    The booming metropolis of Goodhue, nice. I live in Chaska. It's not Wi but its okay. Good luck on getting tickets, I hope you can figure something out. I can't wait, the place is going to go nuts when they announce Lesnar. This will be my first chance to see GSP live. If you ever want to see a good local show you should check out The Myth in Maplewood, the first Wed of every month they have a EFX show. They have some good talent and the boys from Wi (Devils Den) always represent. Good luck and hope to talk to you soon.

    It's true I'm a minnesotan. I actually just moved from WI a couple of months ago. As far as tickets to UFC 87 go I would try ticketmaster first, then the ticket brokers. If they are sold out I would listen to 93X non-stop as they will have tickets and will give them away. If all else fails and you really want to go to the show there will be scalpers with tix the night of. The only reason I'm going is because I have a friend that works for Target center and he owed me a favor. I never realized but it seems that you are a Minnesotan as well? where you from?

    I'm sure you know my article about women in a reality show was just a spoof, not that it wouldn't be interesting. Affliction and Elite XC are the only ones that would let women fight--Dana has already refused, darn it.
