  1. Hey David—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.

I've been spending time on our Lakers page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?

If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.

    Thanks so much,

    Dave Mo

  2. Hey David,

I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.

Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend David!

"Yeah, Kobe is great when surrounded by talent. But he needs to be a leader and make those around him better w/o complaining."

The Miami Heat with the Great Shaquille O'Neal are 1 - 6 on the season. Using your assinine reasoning above, Shaq by himself should be able to make this team great. Without D Wade the Heat can't seem to generate offense.

Conversely the Boston Celtics are 6 - 0 with Garnett, Allen, Pierce. Your logic is greatly flawed.

How many championships did Michael Jordan win with Bill Cartwright? Zero!

How many championships did Scottie Pippen win without Michael Jordan? Zero!

How many championships did Michael Jordan win with the Washington Wizards? Zero!

To further dispute what your statement, look at the following teams and tell me how many of them only had 1 great player who willed them to win?

Showtime Lakers - Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Byron Scott
Boston Celtics - Bird, McHale, Parish
SA Spurs - Duncan, Parker, Genobili
Chicago Bulls - Jordan, Pippen, Rodman

Notice I didn't list several of the teams that made the playoffs in the 80's & 90's like Julius Ervings 76er, or Marques Johnsons Milwaukee Bucks. They could never get over the talent of the Celtics.

Again, you obviously don't have the capacity to write from facts, plain and simple you are dishonest in your views on Kobe Bryant.
