Into football (spectator) and bowling (participant) far more than other sports, anymore.

Packers are, without a doubt, more special to me than any of my other favorite teams in any sport.
They just are a special, unique franchise in the whole, wide world of sports, in too many ways to list here.

I was born in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1956 and moved to Anchorage, Alaska five years later.
I've lived in Anchorage ever since (Fifty years, this Independance Day, baby!), have been out once, when I served four years in the Air Force, and quickly came to understand that once you have lived here, if you leave, you will almost CERTAINLY want to come back!

Finally, I post as NorthStarr (or a small variation thereof) on most sites.

    Literally unbreakable? Any 99-yard run or pass from scrimmage; Otherwise, Cy Young's 511 wins

    Ruth; could have made the Hall as a pitcher!

    Bart Starr - greatest QB of all time (so far ... go, Aaron); Montana #2

    Russell

    Orr ("or Orr?" LMAO !)

  • Pele or Maradona?

    Pele; definitely not Madonna. Oh, you said MARadona. Still, Pele.

    Jimmy Connors, then Bjorn Borg; but, between the two, Sampras

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Nicklaus (and Arnie, pretty much equally). BUT, due to all I have read and heard about the man, Jack & Arnie are just behind Bobby Jones.

    The King

  • Schumacher or Senna?

    Willie (if we're not talking about jockeys here, then I don't know WHO the F we ARE talking about; nor do I care.
