Bud Selig Statue an Insult to Major League Baseball Fans Everywhere

"no longer riding on the merry-go-round...I just had to let it go."

I am a Community Leader and featured columnist for the Cubs and Bears. I am opinionated and not afraid to tell it like it is. I love my Chicago sports teams, but am certainly not beyond calling them out when they do something stupid (which is a lot).
My favorite writers on the site are Ryan Alberti and Leroy Watson, Jr. They are truly amazing, please take some time to get acquainted with their work - you won't be disappointed.
Ryan is a master of linguistics, whose Bob Dylan-esque quotes add so much to his pieces. Just sayin' is all...
Leroy teaches you a life lesson along with his sports-infused articles. You are a better person for having read his stuff.
As for me, I've recently discovered verbs, which has really brightened up my articles!
On a personal note, I have three kids, one of each. If you want to know more about me, Bleacher Report colleague Sam Wenk was kind enough to do a brief profile on me for B/R:

Drop me a line on my Bulletin Board below, or via my personal e-mail: rememberthecoop@yahoo.com if you have questions or need any help.
You have to give credit to the Sox starters, second only to the Red Sox which is a huge factor. The Twins made some nice moves...
I sincerely dislike what baseball has become, and it happened on Selig's watch. I agree with your assessment...
Leroy Watson Jr. replied…
BIG AMEN, Al.
You knocked this one onto Waveland Ave my friend. The proper statue of Selig would depict a fan bent over with Bud standing behind him while...
Leroy Watson Jr. replied…
ROTFLMAO When I first read "bent over," I must admit that my mind went in another,...
Come on--the pidgeons need a place to roost!
Great work, Bob. I've always liked your style of writing, but this is just point-blank on every subject in terms of Selig's stained generation of baseball....
Can a track meet really save the planet?
On of the most amazing pieces I have read:

nice article. i dont know a bunch about MLB but I want to understand it more. what do you think Bug Selig could have done differently...
Good article. I agree that what happens in the postseason is what defines a QB, perhaps more so than any other position in any sport. I...
Andrew Brining replied…
Couldn't agree more. Thanks for the assist Bob ;-) Andrew
Jersey Al Bracco replied…
If "what happens in the postseason is what defines a QB,", then why didn't you mention...
The fact that people are willing to give up on Cutler after last season is preposterous. Lets look at the facts ladies.... and gents. 1) Well...
Powerful enough to break a bone, Bob, and SPOT ON. If they build a statue for Bud Selig, it better be made of horse manure so...
Giamatti kicked Rose out of baseball and rightfully so. Steroid players seem to be able to stay in baseball after the 50 day vacation. Bud needs...
Bob Warja replied…
I would never let Rose back into the game in any capacity, but as far as...
john landrigan replied…
If we could put the stats in the HOF but leave the man out.... That would...
Go Bob!
Wow, solid points.
Bob - This article sums up why I am your fan. You get an A + on this paper my friend without a doubt. The fans...
