The Short List What Zina thinks about sport's most pressing questions

  1. I think you're right this time: The Lakers have Bynum and Gasol. I do not see them losing the championship this year.

I do hope for the Celtics, but I think the chip on the Lakers shoulder, followed by an understanding of all role players of what it takes to beat the Celtics, will have them prevail.

The Celtics still have problems against slashing forward teams ( Atlanta, Cleveland ). 60/40 shot they make it to the Finals.

Didn't mean to be harsh; I think people think I am a homer, but I have written many times against my own teams for the sake of analyzing the sport objectively.

I hope to see you write more. Good luck.

  2. Ever since the loss you have been a no-show. I was berated for my analysis, and now you disappear? Oh well, see you next year perhaps.

  3. Can't wait to read more, keep them coming

  4. I hope you see my analysis in a new light after this. I don't put my team in front of evidence, and the Celtics win should be evidence enough.

  5. Dude, hilarious stuff on the Paul Pierce article.

  6. Hey Zina,

Just read your Paul Pierce piece and love the Wounded Knee tag, think there's any chance it could stick in Beantown? Nah. I like the way you handle the comments even more than the article itself. You're smart and have great style, so now I'm a fan. Keep up the good work!

    Aloha, G

  7. Thanks for the add

  8. Zina, I'm not working in firefox today so here's some editor's feedback.

Nice article! I mainly formatted your paragraphs and utilized the em dash here and there. Make sure everything checks out to your liking—keep up the good work!
