It's been a long road to the B/R copy editors crew, literally. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a double-major in journalism and English, I started out as the sports editor at a small daily in Port Charlotte, Fla., for five years then moved back north to the Boston area, where I became a sports writer and copy editor for The Brockton Enterprise.
During my 13 years as a staff writer at The Enterprise, I covered the gamut of sports, including being beat writer for the Boston Bruins for three years and then beat writer for the Red Sox for 10 more years as well as a weekly columnist. Promoted to assistant sports editor, I oversaw the sports desk for a dozen years and laid out the section. Covering a couple of Stanley Cup Finals and a pair of World Series were writing highlights, while the most rewarding aspect of manning the sports desk was having the opportunity to help develop many aspiring sports writers along the way.
Thanks for the edits!

Thanks Ken. You = the man.
Hey Ken, thanks for the great edits. Sorry about the tweet part, thanks for the explanation. That was a big help! The Bryant link was just a result of the system putting it in there. Probably because they saw his name. Thanks again, hope it was a clean edit.
Thanks for the edits, Ken. Much appreciated.
