It's been a long road to the B/R copy editors crew, literally. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a double-major in journalism and English, I started out as the sports editor at a small daily in Port Charlotte, Fla., for five years then moved back north to the Boston area, where I became a sports writer and copy editor for The Brockton Enterprise.
During my 13 years as a staff writer at The Enterprise, I covered the gamut of sports, including being beat writer for the Boston Bruins for three years and then beat writer for the Red Sox for 10 more years as well as a weekly columnist. Promoted to assistant sports editor, I oversaw the sports desk for a dozen years and laid out the section. Covering a couple of Stanley Cup Finals and a pair of World Series were writing highlights, while the most rewarding aspect of manning the sports desk was having the opportunity to help develop many aspiring sports writers along the way.
Thanks for the edits, Ken! Have a great Monday.
Thanks for the awesome edits and the reply! Have a great weekend.
Thanks for your edits, Ken! Much appreciated!
No worries, Ken. Thanks for the reply. Definitely appreciate you getting back to me!
Hey Ken, forgot to mention tailback is just another reference for running back. Didn't have an issue before with that verbiage, has the policy changed?
Hey Ken, appreciate the amazing edits. I was told if I linked Pro Football Focus on the intro slide I didn't have to link each reference moving forward, that's why I set it up that way. I appreciate the rest of the edits, and hope it was a clean read overall. Thanks for the info on clauses, sometimes I get trapped with those.
Hey Ken. Not sure if you're working right now or not, but if you are, I have an article that's been out for about 7 hours with no edit.
If you can get to it, that'd be great. If not, no worries. Thanks!
Thanks for the thorough edit, Ken!
Thanks for the edits, Ken. Appreciate the work.
Thanks Ken. The Star Tribune name confused me as well, so thank you for fixing that. Happy New Year!
