JR's Bio

Born in the Midwest, living there most of my life, I am now, however, transplanted into the DC Metro area. All I have to say though, is, the ACC ain't got nothin' on the Big 12!

Oklahoma/Texas/Kansas vs V-Tech/FState/Maryland would be a complete laugher in ANY sport! *even gymnastics, though that ain't a sport...*

I have a wife and 2 kids, doin' the full time work thing but an AVID sports fanatic. And yes, I am depressed a bit since I cheer for the hapless Royals and the WTH Happened?!? Chiefs.

  1. Thanks for the add, JR!

  2. MVC? You're being kind. I'm not so sure our team would have gone .500 in the MEAC.

I'll give you basketball, kansas. Orange Bowl or no Orange Bowl, Mizzou had the better football season. While I respect what Mangino did this year and admit that he's a hell of a coach, I don't think kU would have done any better than we did in two games against Oklahoma.

Come back next year and prove me wrong when you get OU, Texas, and Tech. Actually, don't prove me wrong. Keep your basketball, we'll keep our football.

Oh, and awesome article on the Royals. Even though they're in the Sox' division, I still find myself somewhat pulling for them.

  3. Excellent work on the Mangino article J.R.—can't wait to see what he can pull off next year.

Glad to hear you're enjoying yourself...let me know if you have further questions. Can't wait to read your next submission.

  4. Hey JR,

I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.

Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend JR!
