About

My affair with race cars began a quarter mile at a time on a dragstrip during my teens and I remain a fan of NHRA. My true racing love is NASCAR and I have been following it since the 70's. I am very much a fan of the legends in racing that gave us such great memories and the foundation for the sport as we see it today.

Having lived in the Tampa Bay area since toddlerhood, I have been able to travel to many tracks of all sizes throughout the south and of course Daytona.

Currently, as a Featured Columnist, I am in my third year of writing for Bleacher Report.

Hey mam, on recent submitting of "NASCAR Sprint Cup: 10 Reasons Attendance Is Falling Across the Board" I think one key area that of vital importance is that new motorsports are dominating America! In 2001 a new motorsport came into America and has been the fast growing one since, Drifting. From D1 to the American Formula D, drifting has taken America by storm. And as you mentioned with the "loss of young fans" Drifting majority fan base is teenagers to 35 year olds. And for original Nascar lovers the future Australia's V8 Supercars series hits our shores 2013 in Austin! More left AND right turns with v8 monsters than you can shake a stick at. As well as the American Rally series and more Formula 1 coming stateside..... It might be sad to say, Nascar, your days are numbered.

Hey Sandra! You're welcome! It has been a while. It was great to read to your latest. What a Daytona 500 this year! We are doing well, and I hope that you and your family are as well. Take care, and hopefully, there will not be as much time between our next communications.

Sandra, I just became a F/C for the NASCAR page last month. I had been a F/C for college football over the last year. My specialty in Fantasy NASCAR as I write for some websites. I look forward to reading your articles and working with you on the B/R NASCAR page. Can't wait until the season begins.

Hope you can become a fan of mine as well.

Enjoyed your artice,but...... I feel that JJ does get alot of respect both from fans and opponents. I think the fact that it was so amazing and historic people did not no what to think. Looking back at his run makes me look foward to his future! Thanks again. Ed from philly

Please get your facts correct. It was Kasey Kahne's great grandfather who died, the father of his grandmother, grandfather of his mother. Just letting you know that your readers are paying attention.

Are you freakin kidding me? You have the nerve to write what you did about Kyle Busch and I look at your profile and your favorite atheletes consist of Tiger Woods and Serena Woods. What right do you have to say anything about him when you are so obivously confused in who you chose to idolize? A cheating disgusting golf pro adn a tennis player who cannot control her wardrobe or her mouth while playing her sport? Seriously, you need to rethink all that. You are a hypocrite to say anything about Kyle Busch when you chose to follow such character as that!!! Kyle did nothing that has not been done many times by other drivers...difference is they race for the golden 2 team owners. Write a story like it should be written. Obvious bias in NASCAR will destroy the sport. Busch did nothing Vickers did not do to Kenseth the week before. NOTHING!!! Which is exactly thee punishment he got. Sorry I did not realize that Hornaday' championship run far outweighed Matt Kenseth's!
