Yeah, the blogging syndication service isn't perfect, but I'll try to help...
If you go to your article history for that story ( http://bleacherreport.com/articles/50270-mike-ragone-out-for-season-with-notre-dame-two-weeks-from-opener/edit?show=events ) and show your original revision, you'll see your in-text picture was at the top and everything after the second paragraph was written in a different font. This is probably something you can't control at the outset, but after you post an article to your blog you can fix most of these formatting problems by coming here.
First off, I recommend one of two things with the picture: First is to do what I did and click on the picture, hit ctrl+x to cut it, then go to the bottom and hit crtl+v to paste it down there, then add another picture using B/R's photo selector. If you look at the way the Rangone article is now, you'll see it looks pretty nice that way. The second option is to save that picture to your computer (if you already haven't) and upload it into B/R, taking a second to add tags to the picture. If you're unsure how to do either of these things, try messing around with the photo selector/uploader and, if it's still not working, let me know.
To fix the formatting of the text, I highly recommend getting a Gmail account, if you don't have one already. It's the easiest place to begin. You can then click to compose an e-mail, paste your story into it, make sure the font is 12-pt, then click on "switch to plain text." This will very quickly remove all formatting that is hidden in the text. (Your other option is to hit the HTML button in the B/R article editor, which is more trouble than it's worth. Sometimes pasting into Microsoft Word or someplace can work, too, but Gmail is the way to go.) After it's in plain text, you should be able to paste it back into B/R and have it look normal.
As for the article tags, once you add a picture through the B/R system, you should be able to add any tag you need. The reason it wouldn't let you before is a safeguard to make sure all articles posted to the site have a picture accompanying them. In most cases, it's not worth going to the trouble of adding a second picture, but if you already have one in there, I say why not put it at the end and then stick another one at the top through the B/R system. If B/R doesn't have a good second option, then that's the best time to take your picture out and upload it the normal way instead.
I hope this helps. I know it's tough without a true in-person or video walkthrough. Maybe B/R will make a video clip someday, but, until then, feel free to bug me with any questions.

Mark, I'm not working in firefox today so here's some editor's feedback.
Nice article! I made your headline a bit more specific (for search engines), tweaked your teaser, and edited for style. Make sure everything checks out to your liking—keep up the great work!
