Sheffield Needs To Hit One More and Go Home
09/26/2008
I've been a journalist in some capacity since I was 16. I am currently a junior journalism major at Michigan State University and have worked for various campus media including The State News and SpartanEdge.com. My major journalistic interest is sports writing and ideally I'd like to eventually become a beat writer or a columnist for a major daily newspaper. In addition to writing, I've also worked as a copy editor so I've got a bit of experience with editing. I'm an avid sports fan and I particularly enjoy watching and attending hockey and football games. I'm happy to have become a writer for this site as I see that dozens of its writers write really in-depth articles on a variety of topics.
Hey James—Max Tcheyan here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.
I've been spending time on our Redwings page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.
Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?
If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at mtcheyan@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.
Thanks so much,
Max
