Born in Flint, Michigan, Jeff is a 23 yearnews veteran. He has worked in both news and sports starting his career as the Spors Editor of the Michigan Times in 1990. Jeff's first TV job was in 1992 when he landed a job as Sports Director at WBKB-TV in Alpena, Michigan. From there, he moved behind the scenes as a producer and writer for WJBK-TV in Detroit. Jeff then moved on to an anchoring postion at WDFN-AM in Detroit from 1998 to 2001. During this time, Jeff also reported on the news side of things for WEYI-TV in Flint/Saginaw. During his tenure there, Jeff helped create the first ever morning newscast at the station. He then spent time freelancing for ESPN Radio in both Dallas and Phoenix, before returning to Flint as a reporter for WJRT-TV. In 2007, Jeff took an opportunity to help launch a student radio station at Flower Mound High School outside of Dallas where he also taught Broadcast Journalism. He currently works for Clear Channel Detroit as a sports, news and traffic anchor.
Jeff's spouse Martie is a fourth grade teacher. He is a cancer survivor and was also the 2012 NPC Michigan Novice Masters Bodybuilding Champion.
