About

A native New Yorker, I've been a Yankee fan since conception and have been rooting for Barca for many years now. With family in Naples, Italy I root for their heart and soul- Napoli SSC! My wife is Argentine and the family follows the players from that country- including Messi. I have since grown to consider him a brother-in-law of sorts and follow his every move. I do follow soccer all over the world and consider it to be my primary passion. Forza Napoli!! Viva Barca, mes que un club!! Go Yanks!!

he is so good that it took Argentina the full qualifying stage to make South Africa. you can argue Ronaldo has yet to do much for country, too. until a player does for that in addition to club, he cannot be greatest, or even that great in general.

therefore Xavi remains the world's best

    Hey Gian-Tomaso,

Yet another UWCC title match has been and gone, and Roma are STILL the Champions! This match included a sensational return to the goals for a World Cup winner and equal the biggest win of the season so far!

It also look ahead to the mouth-watering Roma vs Juventus tie next weekend! A prediction competition, match report, and video highlights all in one place, what more could you want ;-)

If that sales pitch didn't persuade you, could you just take a look for me please!

    Hey Gian Tomaso,

Five minutes gone...Triestina awarded a penalty and it looks like I could be covering Serie B football from now on...

See if Roma saved me from this less than ideal scenario in the latest UWCC title match which included, as I have already mentioned, a penalty as well as the 100th different player to have scored in a UWCC title match!

Also included are predictions for the next match, as well as a form guide and current table situations, and video highlights of the match!

Don't forget to vote on the poll!

    Hey Gian-Tomaso,

You may be interested to know that Roma are still the best team in the world!! In their latest UWCC title defence they faced Chievo in an action packed match that included a goal in the first minute, a red card, and a penalty!

Also see how my prediction got on, as well as yours, and why there is a very real chance of me following Serie B football from Tuesday on!

    Hey,

It's a tiny bit late as it took longer than expected to write it, but my review of 2009 is finally here! Last year's one won the AOTD award and hopefully I've done enough on this one to equal that feat, but I'll leave you to be the judge of that!

With 25 great moments from 12 different sports, and with everyone from Barcelona to France, the Yankees to the Lakers, and Usain Bolt to Tiger Woods there is something for everyone in this slideshow, plus a ranked top ten as the final slide!

If you get a chance would you mind checking it out? Cheers!
