Kevin 's Bio

First, I want to say thanks to Bleacher Report for giving me the initial opportunity to contribute to this site.

Unfortunately Zander seems to think that volume (ie: hit revenue) should out weigh quality of writing on his site.

Recently I have cut back on contributing and focused on my own blog, at www.yathehabsrule.com , as I noticed the ranking formats, etc. seemed to be in disarray. One by one, quality writers have walked away.

The recent blatant plagiarism by a certain NHL writer has finally let the bubble burst.

That said, I have chosen to discontinue writing for B/R in any aspect.

I hope my followers will continue to follow me as I have joined www.fanhuddle.com/montrealcanadiens , a site that has just two writers to a team.

You can also follow me on Twitter @ http://www.twitter.com/yathehabsrule or email me: kevin@yathehabsrule.com

Thank-you

  1. Wonderful piece on Jimmy D, Keith! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Here's what I wrote about Jimmy following his induction into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame, which I attended in 2006:

  2. I'm back on hockey!

Please take a look at my latest article documenting Tim Thomas' rise from nothing to become one of the NHL's premier goaltenders when you get a free moment.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

  3. Hey there,

I just published another part of my top 100 hockey players ever list, this time ranking numbers 50 to 41. Please, take a look and leave feedback:

  9. Hey,

Here's a link to my WAY TOO EARLY 2010 NHL Playoff Picks. Yeah, I know...I'm really anxious. I've tried to add in some humor to it, too.

    thanks,

  10. Are you as nervous as I am that Latendresse hasnt been signed yet but Chipchura has? Something tells me he might be part of a deal waiting to happen....Lapierre might actually be the ONLY french-canadian left on the team. Honestly, that would be unnaceptable. I would hang Gainey if he trades or lets go of "tender". On an undersized team, a 6'2 220 pounds winger is more than helpful...it's a necessity. He's a fan favorite and has been progressing quickly. There would be no excuse for keeping a waste like Chipchura and let go of one of two french-canadian left in Latendresse.

  11. It's a little late but I thought I'd add my two cents regarding Joe Sakic's retirement. Please feel free to take a gander when you get a spare moment. Thanks.
