Turk Steffens commented on 10 Worst Home Schedules This Season:
many/most schedules are made out years ahead of time and many of these so-called 'weak' teams have been pretty darn good before falling off somewhat. who...
Welcome Coach Fran McCaffery To University Of Iowa
March 29, 2010
I'm a 57 yr. old man, who has been disabled for a few years now due to a series of surgeries that started with my back, then nerve damage in my legs & feet and finally a unique condition was discovered in my spine. I worked in factories most of my life. I was very active in high school "back in the day". I was a tackle in football & a HWT. in wrestling. Also active in school plays, student government, newspaper, yearbook, etc., etc. I attended junior college one year & tried to enter US Navy in '73 but an injury from a farm accident prevented me from getting in. I've been married going on 31 years to a wonderful woman & have 2 great adult 'kids' plus one grandaughter who helps to keep my spirits up. And now I have a 2nd grandchild on the way in November but by my son & daughter-in-law this time. Can't wait!
Hey Turk! Thanks for the like of my OL article. The lineman definitely need some love every so often...the trenches are where battles are won! You should become a fan of me so you can know when my newest articles are out.
Thanks for the like again,

Hello Richard!
I haven't been commenting much this year on Bleacherreport.
Anyhow, with hindsight being 20/20, who would you have started last season at QB, Vandy or Stanzi?
Well, I'll definatly be pulling for Iowa the next couple weeks. Best of luck to ya'll. We lost a hard one.
Richard:
I just want to say that I am very glad we ran into each other. I love your bio and you sure sound like a good family man. I share those values with you but I still don't have a grand child . Maybe that will come soon as I have a 31 year old son.
Well God Bless and stay in touch. By the way, Iowa is my favorite Big 10 school now.
Richard:
Billy Cannon is 5 years older than I am. Growing up in BR all we heard about was how great Billy Cannon was. .Hey was a legend in high school football way before he went to LSU. I remember listening to the famous Billy Cannon Run Back against Ole Miss when I was 14 years old . There were no tickets for the games.
Richard I don't know how it is in Iowa, but here it is growing up with purple and gold in your veins.
Cannon could run the 100 yard dash in 9.4 seconds and the 220 yd dash in 20.5 sec. and he weighted 220 lbs.
I enjoy our visits. Let's keep in touch.
Love your cool Mustang.
Billy
If you ever read one of Bailey's articles your sure to find Gus and Co. I just think they REALLY like them some Bailey, lol. Yes, I do have a crush on Pamela Mason. She knows how to represent for her team and she doesn't slight. She'll tell you exactly how it is, so you've got to love that. Luckily she's a Buckeye fan, because if she was a Wolverine fan, my view of her would be completely different, lol. Best of luck to Iowa this year. I hope we're both undefeated come November for another EPIC battle. Can't wait. BTW, Nice Car!!!!!
Hey, thanks for the becoming a fan! I hope to become as involved as I once was with B/R and hope you'll continue to read my stuff.
