Aight amigos, brb in 3 weeks :p
Hello and welcome to the IBA Bleacher Report page, where I will keep you guys up to date with players as well as transactions/events. I promised you guys that the League will continue, and it is here to stay!!!!! If you guys also remember, I made an offseason thread in the Yahoo League. Unfortunately, I am unable to add or edit forums due to the fact that the Yahoo moderators temporarily shut the League down until the season begins. What does this mean? It means that for now, you guys are stuck reading my threads without those awesome pictures I used in my power rankings D: Before we get started, yes its me Enzo. I created another account specifically for this, but because of B/R's spam issues, I am unable to edit it's bio for this purpose. Alright guys here it is.....
RELIVE THESE MOMENTS. A YEAR WHERE WE ALL HAD TO FIGHT TO THE FINISH
IT'S MY TIME!!!!!!!!
ANNOUNCEMENT: As you guys may have known, Lockdown became the first team in IBA history to become undefeated. His drafting skills and knowledge for the game was truly unparalleled, which translated to his success. The owner behind it, however, True Boss-ton Celtics Fan, has decided to relinquish his duties as co-commissioner. He was the reason why this League was able to last so long. He kept a competitive nature among his peers and helped me greatly in the front office. From scheduling, to trade reviews, as well as answering questions from GM's, he did it all. The good news though is that he will continue to play fantasy basketball, so for any of you looking for revenge from last year, you guys will have your chance :)
STATS AND RULE CHANGES:
1. Unlimited player signings per week.
While this granted freedom for many GM's, little did we know that it granted them too MUCH freedom. The whole purpose of allowing unlimited signings was to help new owners ease into the game. Slowly but surely, owners eventually discovered a loophole into the system. In order to increase their chances of winning a series, owners would intentionally pick up players on days where their team barely plays at all. While this isn't against the rules, it was deemed unfair by both the Commissioner and Co Commissioner as teams who don't rely on the strength of their schedule, but rather their players, often end up losing the series due to the opposing team's having more players after which they have signed them. To combat this, we decided to implement the Yahoo Fantasy Basketball standard format, and that is allowing teams to trade and sign/drop players only FOUR times per week. You are still able to adjust your lineups, but in terms of these other actions, it has become rather limited. Again, the reason for the change was to ensure fair competition and actually make owners think carefully about who they sign.
2. Replace Turnover category with Double Double category (unofficial)
Another thing that screwed most owners was the turnover category. To those own Kevin Durant, Paul George, and even Demarcus Cousins, you guys know what I'm talking about. It doesn't just have to be those players. Joakim Noah, John Wall, and even Blake Griffin fit to this equation. It's simply unfair for players who have a high usage rate to be penalized just to fill up their owners stat sheet. To fix this, I have decided to implement the double double category instead. Not only will this maximize the player's skill set without boundaries, but it will also change the way we draft and view our players. This is still unofficial as I will be unable to change the league settings until September, so I need your guy's vote: yes or no?

Sorry for the wait, I've been busy these past few days.
The roundtable will be up on the day right after I send you the questions.
What does the double double stat mean?
When does the league start and uh, if so, do I have to give my email.
How do I join the league and do I need to have a Yahoo! e-mail/account to join?
I'd add both but don't replace. The double-double category wouldn't produce enough points and the turnover category produced an interesting way to scout players.
Is this Jayson?
No no I was just kidding...... In all probability I won't have the same team so you do what you want.... You can either keep TO and add DD or replace DD with TO... Both are good with me.....
Yeah thought you won't get it XD.. You have to be a Sri Lankan to understand XD
Vitaly also has a great channel....
What is the maximum amount of teams allowed in our league? The draft is when the season begins right? Please keep the turnover stat!
