I was born and still live, in a small coastal town in the county of Somerset, England. I have been married for twenty seven years and have one boy aged twenty. I follow county cricket and the fortunes of England's cricket team in the summer and the NFL from September to January. I have little or no interest in soccer but enjoy watching rugby union (not rugby league). I play badminton and tennis but am now too old for contact sports. My hobbies include photography, gardening and walking the coast and hill paths in England and Wales. We take our holidays in Spain, Wales or Austria. My ambition is to visit America (one of the nice bits where you don't get shot and the scenery is spectacular). I'd love to watch the Green Bay Packers play the Bears at Lambeau Field. I will always endeavour to respond if people take the trouble to reply to an article of mine.
