Tyler 's Bio

Tyler is an avid fan of college football which started back in high school where he played defensive tackle for Walt Whitman High in Bethesda, MD. It was there that he decided he would be better at DISCUSSING it than actually PLAYING the damn game. Tyler is a Veteran of the U.S. Army Artillery and earned the Army Commendation Medal for his Tour of Duty in Europe. He is a DIE HARD Buckeye, Browns, and Tribe fan and also has a passion for golf. Again, better at discussing the game than playing it, (besides a hole-in-one on #12 at Deer Track in 1995, cough...) he is a wealth of knowledge about the history of the game. A former bartender turned construction recruiter, Tyler finds time to watch and argue football at least twice a week. It's all for the LOVE OF THE GAME BABY!!

  1. Hey Tyler ,

I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.

Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Tyler !

  2. Oh, and when you look in the books those four turnovers are called "take aways" (to take away)...

  3. Ever wondered why those coaches come to the SEC? Cause they wanna coach winners. And as for the scholarship thing...who cares? ANd LSU couldn't help that the championship game was in La...that's the breaks. Arizona didn't help you last year, what's it matter where the game is played? Both schools got the same number of allotted tickets.

  4. Got anything to add to your comment on my article Mr. Smith? Maybe you should wait until after your team wins a title game before talking so much. By the way, the Dawg Pound rocks.
