William 's Bio

If you add me as a fan, OK. Be warned I'm a Patriots fan. What I know about the Red Sox and Celtics can almost fill a thimble. OK, a large thimble for like a thumb, but still. Oh I write humor, but 90% of the time it is about Belichick, or Brady, or whatever. The other 10% are guys that are national, be it Favre, T.O., Warner, whatever, but NFL. If you tell me tomorrow that A. Rod retired or was on steroids, I wouldn't know if that was expected or a surprise.

I am a fan who got on the bandwagon in 1976. I hate everybody, especially you. I feel that Raider fans can go tuck themselves although I kinda feel sorry for Raider fans lately.

I usually write Satire and Humor until some I-word* ticks me off.

(Oh an I-word is the person who espouses idiocy the way a moron espouses moronic things. I got a moderator upset and have to use "I-word". They can cal me an ass because they might be referring to a donkey, but...

"N-word," "F-word," move over the evil Patriot fan must refer to those espousing Idiocy as "I-words." If you see me calling people "morons" guess why. )

William Writes About

The Short List What William thinks about sport's most pressing questions

  • Favorite Athletes

Steve Grogan, Larry Bird, Dennis "the anti-Adrew Toney" Johnson, Sam "Bam" Cunningham, Troy Brown

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Patriots, bandwagon on the rest Not Red Sox, In 2003 I decided to stop the pain and refused to climb back on just because they won.

  • Favorite Coaches

Bill Belichick, Chuck Fairbanks, Larry Bird-cough-I mean KC Jones, Raymond Berry

  • All Time Sports Moment

Adam's kick in Snow Bowl. 1976 is a check that will never be paid in full

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Patriots vs. Cowboys in late '80s. Fryar sucked. Well, so did the Patriots.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

    Cy Young's # of starts 815 starts? 511 wins? At 25 wins a year a pitcher needs 21 years.

  • Ruth or Mays?

    Ruth was the better pitcher

  • Unitas or Montana?

Young Unitas might have been good, but I didn't see him. Judging the guy who led the Colts in 1958 by the early '70s might not be fair.

  • Jordan or Russell?

A center or a guard? You have to ask? Russel

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Are you kidding? A defense man? Orr had to play defense.

  • Pele or Maradona?

I can't even guess about soccer

  • Federer or Sampras?

See about soccer and apply it to tennis

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Golf? I thought this was about sports? John Daly is a great athlete

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

I don't know about auto racing.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

I don't even know who these people are.

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

I like all minor league football teams.
