I have been a huge sports fan all my life. It started with the Vikings and Twins and later anything with the University of Minnesota.
Over the past five or six years I have become a big NASCAR fan, after joining a fantasy league.
I have an engineering degree and by nature I'm a stats geek. Data and statistics are everywhere in sports and thus a perfect match. Add the human element and you have chaos.
The great thing about sports is that everyone can have a different opinion. If we all think the same way then there wouldn't be anything to write about, or anything to read.
Don't follow me—I have no idea where I'm going!
Thank you! I appreciate that very much, Tim.
Great stuff on the draft piece, Tim! Cool to see that we both have Johnny Football on the radar—I dropped a piece last week detailing Manziel and some players! Keep up the fantastic work.
Tim, on your run play analysis, you made some great points... however, you misread the Peterson breakdown. There's a fullback for one backer and the center must get out for the second. The DT, (Raji?) does a great job holding the center keeping him from getting up to the backer. Of course it's illegal, but there is holding on every play, and sometimes it gets called, sometimes it doesn't. Toby's always excelled with a gap scheme and hopefully the staff gives him more opportunities to show what he's made of.
Go Tim! The Takeover on the Vikings page. Leave some room for my post tomorrow!!
Thank you for becoming a fan of mine.
Thanks Tim, appreciate it! Keep up the great work.
Trying to become a featured for Vikings. On the trial basis right now, love your work. Keep it up!
Let's go Vikings.
Tim - thanks for your continued support - I'm honored that you chose my Top 25 Vikings piece as a favorite.
Tim, thanks so much for the fan add. It's quite an honor for a newbie to the team to receive support from someone of your standing. I appreciate your consideration.
